The vines are cultivated using the traditional alberello method, on sandy soils with the presence of limestone and clay. The wine comes from a blend with a majority percentage of Carignano, supplemented by a small balance of Bovale. Harvesting is done manually and the best grapes are sent for fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with maceration on the skins for a dozen days. The wine is then transferred to cement tanks for malolactic fermentation and matures for about a year in French oak barrels.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eThe red wine 'Is Solinas', from the Sardinian Argiolas winery, is a Carignano del Sulcis Riserva of great territorial typicality, authentically reflecting the character of the Sulcis region.
