The wine is made from Vernaccia di Oristano and Vermentino grapes, which come from vineyards cultivated in the valley of the river Tirso. The warm Mediterranean climate, mitigated by sea breezes and the Mistral, and the predominantly alluvial soils, characterised by the presence of sand, are particularly suitable for growing white grapes. At the end of harvesting operations, the best bunches, selected directly in the vineyard, undergo a soft pressing. The must is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and the wine matures in vitrified cement and steel tanks for several months before being put on sale.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eThe white \"Karmis\" is one of the most representative labels of the Sardinian Contini winery. In the glass, it is light yellow in colour, intense and luminous.
