This fundamental characteristic makes the tasting very smooth, encouraging the gesture of pouring the bottle's contents into the glass. It is a truly satisfying product that originates from a local grape variety, Vitovska, widely cultivated in the Trieste Karst region. It is a label that complements seafood cuisine, especially recipes for first courses prepared with crustaceans and molluscs, with absolute perfection.

This Vitovska is made using only this grape variety, which originates from Slovenia and is widely grown throughout the Karst region. The vines of this variety, which are around 20 years old, grow in a terroir characterized by rich red soil and limestone rock. The grapes, carefully selected during harvest to ensure the best of the original terroir, undergo white vinification once they arrive at the premises used for vinification at Kante. They then age for a year in barriques and 6 months in steel containers. At the end of these 18 months in total, the wine is bottled without any filtration.

The Kante Vitovska white wine presents itself with a bright, shining straw yellow colour. The scents that envelop the nose tell a fruity story, with a subtle floral note in the background. On the palate, it has a good structure and is soft, with a sip characterized by a pleasant salty and fresh imprint, making the tasting an engaging experience. This label allows the Friulian Kante winery to establish itself with excellent ratings in the leading Italian sector guides.
