The Champagne Brut Vintage is produced by Taittinger only in the best years, when the climate of the season yields grapes of exceptional quality, with rich and intense aromatic profiles. The Vintages are precious Champagne with great personality, their charm lies precisely in their inimitable uniqueness, because there are never two identical years and each cuvée tells a different and fascinating story. It is the ideal choice for those who do not settle for the standard taste expressed by classic non-vintage Champagne and are looking for that particular emotion that only Vintages can provide. An exclusive and characterful Champagne.
The Brut Vintage is the result of grapes from a single year, considered by the Maison Taittinger to be so exceptional that it is celebrated with a dedicated label. The Champagne region represents the northern boundary for vine cultivation. A latitude with a cold climate, where not every year does the grape reach perfect and full ripeness, and for this reason, the Vintage is an exception in the landscape of Champagne production. It is made from Chardonnay sourced exclusively from classified vineyards.Grands Crus de la Côte des Blancs and Pinot Noir from the best Grands Crus of the Montagne de Reims and the early part of the Vallée de la Marne. The extraordinary quality of the vins clairs is complemented by a long aging period on the lees in the cellars of the Maison, which gives the Champagne a rich and multifaceted profile.
The Champagne Brut Vintage from the Maison Taittinger is suitable for those who love mature, elegant, complex, and persistent Champagnes, particularly suited to be enjoyed at the table paired with important fish or white meat dishes. In the glass, it presents a bright light yellow, crossed by a cordon of finest, delicate, and persistent bubbles. On the nose, it expresses all its richness, with aromas of white fruit, Williams pear, yellow fruit, floral scents, and hints of dried fruit. The sip is deep, broad, and of great aromatic richness, crossed by a lively freshness that gives lift to the drink. The finish is long and very persistent.
